If you intend to use and incorporate podcasting in your own business wherein the entire organization can contribute but is concerned on how your colleagues and employees should participate and publish their thoughts on the company’s podcasting program, then creating guidelines about podcasting is recommended. This will help you and your entire organizations to create and publish podcasts that are within the professional limits of the company.
Creating guidelines will prevent unwanted or accidental revelation of your trade secret or declarations that may cause offence to fellow colleagues or insult a supplier or hurt the feelings of your valued clients. As business owners or company officers, we wanted our employees to share their thoughts and express their opinions in sensible and professional ways. We do not want in any way publish critical or confidential information that may hurt the company or threaten the company’s security and stability.
Creating podcast guideline will set all the rules and the allowable topics or discussion that they can use in publishing podcast shows. Lastly, you should also include a disclaimer that although they are employees of your company, their opinions do not necessarily represent the official stand or opinion of the company.
