I just learned about PodZinger a while ago and I personally thought that this is a good and easy ad revenue opportunity program for podcasters because PodZinger promised to offer a 50-50 split from the revenue that they earned from the ads that has been played on your podcast show.

Though the audio or video ads will be played ahead of the actual podcast show, I don’t think that it would be a turned-off to your audience because PodZinger state that they will only run ads that are relevant to your content. And sensible audiences will surely understand that podcasters need to incorporate ads to support the show itself especially if your podcast is offered for free.

I also read the PodZingers terms of agreement and I can say that their stipulations and clauses are fair. In fact, theirs are one of the most readable and understandable terms that I have read so far. The sentences are short and are straight to the point.

I would give it myself a try if I have a podcast show because I can see that this is a good chance to start monetizing a podcast. Though there is no solid guarantee of earning at once, for me it is worth trying because there will be no added cost on your side and there are no tight strings attached as you can withdraw from it if the partnership displeases you in any way. And joining PodZinger will in one way broaden your market because you will be exposed with their existing audiences and affiliates.
